The holidays are great, but it sure is nice to be back to normal life now!! We drove to CT for 4 days, and it was such fun to see everyone. We got to see some snow, though it rained while we were there and melted quite a bit of it. I actually tolerated the drive well. Sitting for long periods of time gets painful these days, but my wonderful husband drove the entire way there and back so that I could readjust my position constantly, and lean back in the seat. I am so lucky!

Camryn got a bunch of gifts for Christmas, which was tons of fun (for us... and soon to be for her!). We got some great hand me downs from her cousin Harper too, including a play mat with toys that hang down. I assembled the play mat when we got home to see what it looked like, and our cat Phoenix immediately fell in love. She enjoys the play mat so much that we have not had the heart to pack it back up. It is still set up in our upstairs hallway, and throughout the day we hear the rattles being flung about, and sometimes she even figures out how to turn on the music. It is one of the most amusing things I have witnessed in a while. Here is a quick video of her "routine":

Hope that gave you a little laugh!

We had our 24 week OB appointment today, at 24 weeks and 2 days. It was short and sweet, no big news to report. We got to hear Camryn's heart beat, which was in the 140s, and the doctor said that was perfect. They prepared me for my glucose screening test, which I will have 4 weeks from now. It involves drinking a bottle of sweet orange liquid and drawing blood, and tests for gestational diabetes. That's pretty much all that happened!

We are still working to get the nursery set up, and this weekend we are going to clean out the closet and install a closet organizer system. I am really looking forward to getting it done. We also ordered Camryn's crib this week, which should be her mid-week next week. We will definitely post pictures of the organized closet and the crib once we get them ready!

Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday season!

P.S. Here is the latest "belly pic"... definitely a baby in there!
