Despite the fact that last week was a 4 day week, it seemed to crawl by. Andy and I were both traveling (me to DC and Andy to Atlanta). I did take some time out to do a sewing project. It is called a ring sling, and Camryn and I both love it. It is soooo comfy to wear (especially now that she is getting heavier):
And the weather has been nice enough that we can sit out on the deck in the evenings:
One of the highlights of our week was the 36" TV that I scored while running. Yes...I'm serious! I was running through the neighborhood next to ours, and there was a huge TV on the curb with a sign on it that said "FREE". It even had the manual and the remote taped to the top of it. We had been considering getting a bigger TV for our bedroom, so I could not believe my eyes. I picked up the pace quite a bit, jumped in the car when I got home, and sped back to see the TV still on the curb. I asked the guy in the garage if anything was wrong with it, and he said that you just need to use component cables to hook it up because the screw-in cable wire did not work well. So he helped me load it and off I went. We still have to get a stand for it, but check this thing out:
Works great!!!!

Camryn is close to sitting up on her own now, and is getting better at rolling over. She seems to be getting the itch to move around, so hopefully (for her) she will be crawling around soon. This is her in action:

She is full of smiles these days:
She is eating all kinds of things now, and loves it (and her hook on booster seat in the kitchen):
We spent Saturday hanging out with the Wasdells watching the UConn vs. UNC football game, and UConn sadly lost in the 4th quarter. It was a sad moment. Then we all headed over the river and through the woods to Arm and Emily's house for Arm's birthday. It was fun and they had tons of food...I ate WAY too much sausage dip! Here is Camryn with the birthday boy:
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ARM!
Camryn is asleep now and I have to make some dinner. Andy is already on his way to Chicago for a couple of days, and I am gearing up for a trip to Miami, FL and Winston-Salem, NC this week. Wish us luck...it's going to be a busy few days.
