Visiting the pumpkin patch and other weekend adventures

In the spirit of fall, we took Camryn to the pumpkin patch this weekend! Andy biked from our house so that he could get in a workout, and I drove with Camryn. Nana met us there. We got to see lots of pumpkins, and a bunch of animals including goats, rabbits, pigs, chickens, and donkeys. I love how some of the pumpkins were as big as Camryn. Here we are enjoying the fall:

On Sunday, we went hiking at Harris Lake. There is a 5 mile loop there that we hike once in a while. It is a nice place to get out with the dogs, and now with the baby. Andy got me a hiking pack to carry Camryn in as a gift for my upcoming birthday, and we got to try it out (it is awesome). Camryn stayed awake for a while, but ended up falling asleep as I anticipated. I guess she likes the new pack!Other news this week: Camryn took her first "big girl" bath! Now that she can sit up, she just tries to sit up in the baby bath tub anyway, so I figured, what the heck! It was actually a lot easier bathing her in the regular tub, not to mention easier to fill, and easier to drain! So, time to pack away the baby tub. She was so excited to be able to sit in the tub and play with toys during bath time, it was so cute:I have GOT to tell this little sweet story. Last week when I was out of town, Andy ordered pizza for dinner after he put Camryn to bed. I came home that evening, and he flew out the next morning. When I went in the fridge to get out some pizza to reheat for lunch, I had to smile when I saw the label:What a thoughtful Daddy! He is the best!

I will leave you with a picture from a walk Camryn and I took this week:

Our sweet, precious girl!
