It's still hot here, but we're making the best of it :-)

I must admit that this 90 degree weather is getting the best of me these days! It is finally less humid, and cooler in the morning and evening though. Despite the continued heat, Camryn has been LOVING the park, so I am sure to take her at least a couple of times a week. Andy and I have also started making a habit of stopping at a park to play with Camryn when we are out running errands on the weekends. It is so much fun to have him with us, and it gives Camryn a chance to show off all of her new skills to him. Her latest favorite activities are swinging on the swings, playing on the sandbox, and going down the slide. I am pretty sure she could rotate between those three activities for the entire day if we would let her!

This past weekend we went to the Harvest Festival at Yates Mill, which is just down the road for us. It was a beautiful day, and we were able to learn a lot about the mill, hear some live music, and eat some good food.

Andy remembers his grandparents (Brenda's parents) having a tractor just like this when he was growing up:

And here's one of Andy and Camryn having fun in the backyard earlier in the day:

We do not have any big plans for this week, but Andy is home which is very nice for Camryn and I. This coming weekend he is playing in a golf tournament on Saturday, and Camryn and I have a couple of social gatherings to attend. Organizing the garage is also on the "to-do" list...we'll see if that actually gets done on Sunday! :-)
