As I mentioned, I have been running a lot more in the recent weeks that I have in the past year. Not running was mostly due to me being pregnant, but partially due to me not making time for it. I am trying REALLY hard to make time lately (and time for "me" in general). On the days when I can't get out on my own, I have been trying to work it into my daily schedule with C and c. Easier said than done with an unpredictable infant and an opinionated toddler. When I run in our neighborhood with the BOB Duallie in tow (well, out in front), I make a deal with Camryn that we can stop at the park on our way home. She loves it. Honestly, the park in our neighborhood is not nice AT ALL, but there are swings there and a mostly weed-filled sandbox, both of which she really enjoys. She likes to sit on my lap on the big kid swing, yell "Weeeeee" and wave to Carson in the stroller while saying "Hi Baby Car Caaaaarrrr!". It sometimes pains me to stop mid-run, but to see her joy on the silly swing at the crappy park definitely makes it worthwhile. I am going to try to not let the "work" associated with getting the kids ready so I can run get in the way of me doing it. That's my new goal, and a lofty one at that.
