Updates from this week

Last Sunday was my first Mother's Day, and it was great. Andy and Camryn gave me a necklace that says "Mom" on it, and a really sweet card. They picked them out together. Here is the necklace:I just love it.

On Wednesday, Camryn had her two week checkup. She weighed 9lb 3oz, which the doctor said was phenomenal (almost a pound heavier than her birth weight), and was 21.25" long (0.75" longer than at birth). He heard a very minor heart murmur, which is apparently nothing to be concerned about. We are having it double checked by a cardiologist next week, but just as a precaution according to Dr. Dupuy. Other than that, she checked out healthy and perfect! Yay!

On Thursday, Camryn got to meet her great Aunt Cath! We did all sorts of fun things including making a mold of her foot painting pottery. It was a fun two days. Here is a picture of the goodbye kisses: :-)
Yesterday we spent the day at the Wasdell's by the pool and cooking out. It was a get-together for Andy's indoor soccer team, and we had a great time. When we got home, it was time for Camryn's first "real" bath (since her umbilical cord fell off a couple of days ago). We were not sure how it would go, but she loved it!

And a couple of others from this week just for fun:
