I survived my first trip away from
Camryn! It was tough to leave, but once I left it was not too bad. Andy played the role of "super-dad" and did a fantastic job. I came home to a clean, happy baby, a house that was still standing, and even clean dishes :-). Pumping
breastmilk while traveling was a challenge, but I made it work.
Camryn had a friend over this weekend (Hayes), and we all went to the Lazy Daze festival in Cary. We had a great time until the sky opened up and poured buckets of rain on us. The girls stayed dry in their BOBs...Andy and I got soaked! It rained the rest of the afternoon, so we stayed inside and took it easy.
Here are Camryn and Hayes on the way to the festival:

And Andy, after the storm:

Once we got back home...
Camryn was more much interested in checking out Hayes'
playmat skills than playing with her own toys:
Last week I started home-making baby food for Camryn (sweet potato, carrot, and mango), and she got to try the carrots last night. She *thinks* she likes them (the jury is still out):

We all have head colds (yes, even
Camryn), and Andy is headed out of town this afternoon.
Camryn and I will be laying low and trying to get better :-) Just for fun, look what I could see out my front door last week:
Happy Monday!
