Where does the time go?

These kids are growing. Like weeds. I can't believe how much each of them has changed over the past few months.

Camryn is no longer a baby...she is a little girl. She is sleeping well in her "big girl bed", eats from a plate or bowl at every meal with a fork or spoon, and has hair long enough for a ponytail. One of the funniest things she does right now is that she labels everything as belonging to someone. She will come across an object and almost immediately declare, "Mama's" or "Baby's" or "Dada's". And the same objects always belong to the same person. For example, the camera is always "Mama's". The remote control is always "Dada's". Haha! Another one of her favorite things is to be covered in a blanket so she can be "warm". Except she says "mwarm". So cute. Her language skills are continuing to develop, and she is working on saying short sentences now. She understands a lot more than she can say, but she is very eager to verbalize what she is thinking so I am sure she will be able to say anything she wants to before we know it. She remembers things now, so after we do something, she will often talk about it a day or two later. This is fun because I can talk to her about what we did, and I can tell her what we are going to do on a given day and she looks forward to it. Camryn is becoming very affectionate toward Carson. It melts my heart. She will not go to bed without giving him a kiss, and she often hugs and kisses him on her own. She asked to hold him for the first time the other day (not the first time holding him, but the first time she asked on her own). It was adorable. Anytime they are together, Carson will not takes his eyes off of his big sister, and luckily for him, she seems to love him just as much!

Carson is starting to hold on to toys and be interested in playing. He LOVES his playmat, and kicks and punches and grabs furiously. He will also hold a toy for a short time if you hand it to him, and even tries to put it in his mouth. He has great head and torso control, and can support his body weight on his legs. And as you know, he has been rolling over for a while now. Unfortunately for me, Carson is no where near sleeping through the night! He gets up a minimum of two times per night still (usually more), and MAN am I tired!!! He is either eating or awake and happy though, so I can't complain too much. I will take either of those over a crying baby any day.

Here are some pictures of the two weeds:

She thought this was the greatest idea EVER (poor Carson):

And for fun, a few pictures of the ice we got this week:
