15 month checkup and shots

Camryn had her 15 month check-up today and had to get 3 shots :-(((. This was the first time that she recognized the doctor's office as a "not so fun" place(probably because we have already been there twice this week/last week) and she was glued to me the whole time. Between the shots and her teeth coming in she had a tough morning, though motrin made it a bit more tolerable for her. She is up to the 80th percentile for height and down to the 25th percentile for weight. They think that her weight percentile dropped from around 50th at her last visit to 25th at this visit because of her losing weight (about a pound) due to the stomach virus she had last week. A pound is a lot when you only way 21 pounds total! We are going to re-check her weight in a month just to be sure that she is staying on track and not slimming down for any other reason, but they said they are not too worried.

She loves to play with bubbles, so I took them out for her this morning after the doctor visit in hopes of cheering her up a bit. Until today, she has just taken the bubble wand out of the container and put the end inside her mouth. No bubbles ever resulted. She took a step in the right direction today...she started putting the bubble wand up to the front of her mouth and blowing. She was able to squeak out a few bubbles that way. Of course, most of the soap still got in and on her mouth...so funny and cute!

Andy finally got home this afternoon after a week of traveling and a cancelled flight last night...it was so nice to have some family time this afternoon and this evening. We are headed to the organic farmer's market in the morning, so it should be a nice Saturday as well :-)
