Cardiologist appt for baby Carson...

...went great! They did not detect any abnormalities, and said he looks just perfect!

Camryn have been very busy trying to make the most of the summer weather, and our time together before baby Carson arrives. We have been going to the pool, music time at our local Bruegger's Bagels, to the park, and are hoping to make it to library story time this week. I have also discovered that she really enjoys going to the children's consignment shop. There is a whole wall of (open) toys she can play with, and there are always other kids in there for her to admire. I like going too, I am on the hunt for boy stuff and have found some great deals lately. My big score today were some new, never used wool diaper covers for $8.99 each. I knew they were a steal when I saw them, but was even more thrilled when I looked them up online and discovered that they retail for $24.95.

Camryn's latest development is that she is starting to say a TON of words! It is so much fun! She says juice, milk, banana, uh-oh, bye bye, dada, mama, nut, ball, cheese, baby, belly button, bubble, hot, shoes, thank you, water, and I am sure some more that I can't think of at the moment. Some are easier to understand than others, but the more she practices them the better she gets at saying them. We are so proud!

I just put a few new pictures on the computer today, here they are:

Throwing and catching balls is her new favorite activity:

Peanut butter and jelly anyone?

She is so cute! Can you believe how much one year can change a baby? It goes too fast!! I'm going to savor this next one a ton... it will most likely be our last ):
