Update from the land of no sleep and endless diaper changes!

I have been taking lots of pictures and keeping track of things I need to post updates about in my head, but for some reason it has been tough for me to find a moment to sit down at the computer to share them! No idea why!!

Carson had his two week check up on Friday, and seems to be doing great! The pediatrician likes to see that the baby has returned to their birth weight by the time they are two weeks old, and Carson had gained 12 oz beyond his birth weight. Needless to say, he is eating well!

Camryn has been getting 4 more teeth, which has made her rather miserable. She is getting motrin 3 times a day, and luckily this seems to keep the discomfort at bay. She is adjusting well to being a big sister, however! She is more clingy to Andy and I still, and of course demands our attention as soon as we begin attending to Carson's needs, but we expected that. She is still very affectionate toward Carson, and wants to help us with him as much as possible. I'll take it!

The kids and I have been out and about, which feels good. Getting back to normal life is a must for me, and it has been good to spend time with our playgroup friends, visit family, go out to breakfast with the Sheltons as we often do on the weekend, etc. Andy has been making a ton of progress on the house, which also feels fantastic! I only wish I could help him more. In the past week, he has installed a new light fixture in our dining room, a new fan in our kitchen, and a new vanity and toilet seat in our downstairs bathroom. It has been a while, but our house is finally starting to feel more like our own home. Ahhhh!

Here are some pictures I have taken in the past week. The leaves are BEAUTIFUL around here this year, so I took advantage of the photo op when Camryn and I were playing outside a few days ago. Carson already seems to be growing and changing, so I try to take at least one picture every day! Enjoy!
